My first plastic surgery in Korea! Facial contouring, double eyelids, nose, and forehead fat grafting review.
Before surgery, I was really self-conscious about my square jawline, small eyes, and wide nose. Honestly, I didn’t like my face at all.
I kept telling myself not to go through surgery because it was scary, but in the end I decided to do it. Seeing so many people around me become prettier through plastic surgery made me impatient, like I was the only one standing still — you know that feeling, right?
I had surgery on my eyes (non-incisional correction, front canthoplasty, back canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty), nose, facial contouring (chin tip, square jaw), and forehead fat grafting. Even on the day of surgery it didn’t feel real. The night before, I couldn’t sleep at all and went straight to the hospital.

(Before surgery)
Day 1: When the drainage tube was removed, it felt a bit sore. After being discharged, I went home, ate porridge, and even went to work because I was bored. I couldn’t drink water well — because of the nasal packing, water kept going into my nose and made me cough, so I just gave up. The clinic gave me things needed for aftercare. I immediately did cold compresses, and they said cold compresses are good for 3–4 days, then switch to warm compresses from Day 4.

Day 2: In the morning I went to the hospital to remove the nasal packing. Since I live in the countryside and the hospital is in Seoul, they originally told me to come back on Day 3. I explained and got a doctor’s note, then had it removed at a local plastic surgery clinic. Some people said it hurts, but for me it didn’t hurt at all.
Day 3: My nose was running like crazy. Swelling in my eyes and jaw increased a bit.
Day 4: When I woke up, the swelling in my eyes had gone down a lot and the eyelid line looked pretty. My nose was still runny, and jaw swelling was getting huge.
Day 5: Nose swelling seemed to start going down little by little. Eye swelling was visibly reducing. Sensation in my jaw was returning, and I could open my mouth wider and speak normally without slurring.
Day 6: Nasal discharge started to decrease. I think the swelling will go down more next week. I feel like I can eat anything now.

(After surgery)
I had my eye stitches removed and radiofrequency treatment on my thighs. Since I had thigh liposuction and fat grafting to my forehead, I’m really happy with the forehead fat grafting as well.
People around me saw me on Day 6 and said my face looks so much smaller and already prettier. I just want the swelling to go down quickly so I can hold my head high with confidence. I keep thinking I should have done it earlier… now I’m just wishing time would pass faster.
