Home/K- Eye Community/A review about how my mom’s eyes became prettier in Korea.

The clinic is Highbom Plastic Surgery!

It has been four months since my mom had her surgery.

She had upper eyelid surgery, upper eyelid fat repositioning, and lower eyelid surgery all together.

Her surgeon was Director Woo Kyung‑sik!

My mom had concerns about droopy eyelids, messy eyelid lines, and an overall untidy look around her eyes — you can tell just by looking at the before photos.

So during the consultation, we simply said,

“Her eyes look like this, and that’s exactly what she’s worried about.”

Thankfully, both the director and the consultant understood immediately.

They explained clearly why she looked tired and how the uneven lines were causing discomfort.

We had gone to other clinics before, and some of them subtly looked down on us…

which didn’t feel good.

But here, there was none of that, so we decided to proceed with the surgery.

Right after surgery, the swelling + bruising combo was tough for her.

She even said, “Maybe I should’ve just lived with it…”

But around week 2–3, everything changed.

The upper eyelid surgery improved the sagging skin, making her eyes clearer,

and the lower eyelid surgery reduced the shadowy look — even I felt happy seeing the difference.

The fat repositioning also made a big difference.

The hollow areas filled in naturally, and as the fat settled, her eyes looked much more defined.

By months 2–3, instead of a “surgery look,” her overall impression looked refreshed and balanced.

Once the swelling and bruising faded, everything stabilized beautifully.

Now at month 4, I asked if she had any discomfort, and she said none at all.

She’s just happy that the tired, awkward eye shape is gone.

She also said she’s really glad she got the fat repositioning.

Since many people take their parents to clinics, I thought this might be helpful, so I wanted to share our experience.
